Covers: Layout, sawing, filing, soldering, forging, and fabrication. You will use the torch, flex shaft equipment, buffers, hammers, pliers, etc., in the process of learning annealing, tension soldering, applique soldering, hand cleaning and polishing, saw piercing preparation and stone setting.

Intensive, hands-on training in the process of lost wax casting.

Covers: Wax design techniques, spruing & investing wax patterns, calculation of metal requirements, control of burnout cycle, and centrifugal casting of projects. Techniques for finishing and polishing jewelry using flexshaft machines and polishing lathes are taught. Problem solving and bench tricks are presented.

Covers: How to duplicate jewelry and other items for mass production. Using a mold compound that you can bake at home in your own oven, you will be able to use the mold one hundred times to produce wax patterns identical to the original.

Intensive, hands-on training in becoming comfortable using a torch.

Covers: Chain repair, making jump rings, rabbit ear bail and solid bail, making silver band, sizing ring up and down, making pendants.  Soldering crown for stone in ring.  Multiple soldering exercises.  Will use torch, flex shaft equipment, buffers, hammers, pliers, etc., in process of learning annealing, tension soldering, hand cleaning and polishing.
